better than gel nails After I read the other day unexpectedly positive reactions about the new "better than gel nails" system, by essence, I have bought it to me, although I really did not first. The starter kit is just under 10 € 4-5 € cheaper than if I would have bought the Poduct separately (available are the products in the new range in the great essence-counter).
contained in a file set to one side for cleaning the nails, before sticking the tips. The other side is a regular file, the file tips later if desired and correct. In addition, a set of 18 tips in 9 different sizes. A vial of glue, two vials with base and top coat and a pot of remover, especially for the btgn coatings and btgn remover (I do not want to think about what a chemical stuff I gekleistert me since it is on the nails I ... well, forget it ...)
This is the content of the nail tips package. Each nail tip has a small "handle" on which notes to him, while a brush the adhesive on the back. Because one holds him while he was aufklebt. Later, he was then snapped several times back and forth along the impressed breaking point, so that it gives up (I used a pair of scissors, it was too much Geruckel and I was afraid that I take the tip to pull back down). The handle is also still an order of magnitude of 1-9, which I think is a very good idea.
So this is the result. For the first attempt, I think it has succeeded quite well. Having never had gel nails, I can not draw any comparisons, but at first it was a very strange feeling to have something foreign stuck to the nails. This is, fortunately, but quite fast.
Some nails next time I will choose a different tip size and some nails seem small air bubbles to have formed at the transition from clear coat to tip. Let's see if I hammer out better next time.
All in all, I am so far very happy with the new system of essence. It is the first time that I attempt with a French manicure in home work and am happy to trust me on the street would. essence promises a life of 10 days. If the nearly get there, I'll definitely buy more of the tips and now have more time French manicure. My Recommended, the new system until now anyway.

postscript from 07.03.2010:
This morning, after about 20 hours, I broke off the corner of a tip, when I opened a bottle of water. Eben, after about 32 hours, I tore down my a complete tip. The advantage: I'm not even notice he has not bonded tightly enough to cause pain. I'm afraid he got lost when I was fishing deep down in my brimming bag for my keys.
Conclusion: Although I've now got plenty of compliments and positive comments for my nails, I will not use it more for now. To me the real fun too expensive, quite apart from the time when I have to stick every other day again. So after the "mini-endurance test" now but not Recommended ...
Second postscript:
When trying to replace the damaged tips I tipped my thanks to the extremely stupid metal foil on the Entfernerdose, half the liquid over the table and I also cut my two fingers. The remover is also extremely weak, so I move around for ages with their fingers in it had before the tips were too is softened only partially. Result: I cut my nails down completely to get rid of the stuff - And I still have stubborn residue on the nails. To me, this stuff definitely never go back to my nails!
